Larsen Water Management carry out Flow Simulation Testing on existing water distribution networks as part of the Design and Planning Application by Architects and Consultant Engineers for the construction of schools, health care, residential or commercial developments.
The objective of a Flow Simulation Test (FST) is to assess the capacity of an existing water distribution network to supply an additional proposed development whilst maintaining an acceptable level of service at the critical points in the existing network. The level of service at the critical nodes is measured through pressure logging, whilst carrying out the Flow Simulation test at the times of peak demand.
Larsen Water Management provide a detailed report of the Flow Simulation Test results and findings, which can be integrated into the design process and the planning application.
